You should consider the type of work your shop specializes in, the types of vehicles you regularly see come through your doors, your available floor space, your maximum lift height, and your overall budget.

Scissor lifts take up much less room in a shop than a four-post lift, while simultaneously offering a similar range of lift capacity. When not in use, they completely fold into the floor.

The minimal concrete depth that we recommend for a two-post car lift installation is between 150mm (6 inches) and 250mm (10 inches).

Lift manufacturers and several lift installation engineers use the absolute minimum recommended depth of 100mm or 4 inches of concrete, but due to the excessive weight and forces imparted by a 2-post lift at the floor bolts and base, we would always recommend deeper concrete than this.

Vehicle lifts are sent on vehicles with tail lifts and offloaded with an electric pallet trucks for customers at residential areas. We also have our own deliver lorry with a crane for local customers making delivery easier.
